Vigan City Fiesta 2021
Yearly, Vigan City celebrates their Fiesta every January 25. It is celebrated during the Feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle, St. Paul is Vigan City's patron saint. The Vigan City Fiesta usually lasts for several days. It includes within the period the celebration of the anniversary of Vigan, which is commemorated every January 27.
Usually during Fiesta, many people return to their hometown, Vigan, just to celebrate fiesta with their families. People watch street dancing, parades and cultural shows in Vigan during Fiesta. So many food fairs, arts and craft exhibits. But because Of Covid-19 pandemic, all of this doesn't happen during the 2021 Fiesta. There is no parades and street dancing competitions to limit the number of people and to not spread virus. And also there is no food fairs and craft exhibits to limit also people who will go to Vigan. Vigan City officials just attend a mass with other people but they don't forget to wear masks and apply social distancing. It's their way to celebrate it because they can't celebrate it with so many people just like the previous years.
Bigueños can't celebrate the Vigan City Fiesta because of this Pandemic just like the previous years but it's for our safety. We just wait till the pandemic end and we can celebrate it without fear of getting the Virus.

I find this composition very informative and I agree with your insights. Eventhough we want to celebrate festivals, we should always remind ourselves that our health is far more important. With a little more patience, we can again enjoy festivals.
